If you are looking for a vacation home with an absolute "WOW" factor, look no further! The Water Dog Cottage has it all!!! It starts of course with the location, with the beautiful backyard directly bordering the forest. By the way, the backyard is fully fenced so (any) dogs can stay safely in the garden. The garden has a large BBQ and fire pit where you can sit! The small stream that meanders through the garden provides beautiful background sound. The house has beautiful bedrooms (6!). These are spacious, luxuriously finished and have comfortable (large) beds. With four bathrooms there are also plenty of opportunities to shower comfortably or take a bath. The cozy living room has a large wood-burning stove that you can use to warm the house. TV and audio are perfectly arranged through Bluetooth and Chromecast! The whole house (and garden) is equipped with fast wifi! The kitchen is large, almost professional, and features a large assortment of cooking utensils. Several refrigerators offer space in abundance for cooling. The wood-fired pizza oven is really GE WEL DIG! What a treat to cook pizza, as well as other great dishes, in it. The pizza oven is "accompanied" by a professional refrigeration unit, with refrigerated work surface, refrigerated ingredient containers and three refrigerated compartments. This same space also houses the bar with tap! In advance you can specify which beer you would like to have connected, but you can also bring your own keg. Tapping your own (Belgian) beer, what more could you want? Daniel and Mieke are hospitable and provide you with all the information you could want and are also always available to answer any questions. A great house, extremely comfortable, ideal if you want to enjoy cooking, but also for long walks in the beautiful surroundings! We can recommend this house for 110%!

Very pleasant stay had. Despite being near a road it is not too bad in terms of traffic and noise. Also the trout restaurant within walking distance of the house is very quiet. The cottage we booked for 1 week met our expectations. The welcome was very warm and everything looked clean. We enjoyed the delicious pizza dough and the pizza oven. Perfect for an evening full of Italian atmosphere! The rooms are equipped with the necessary comfort where you will not lack anything. For us personally the rooms were a bit dark but that is typical ardennes so totally within the atmosphere appropriate. Although the temperature outside was very pleasant, the rooms and living space were cool to the touch. We even lit the wood stove once. In short, a nice stay in the middle of nature in a beautiful setting.

In this lovely cottage you can do everything that makes a stay pleasant: socializing with family and friends, sleeping well, making beautiful walks and bike rides through the beautiful surroundings with streams and beautiful views of the Ardennes hills, lazing in the garden, cooking. And the latter I did there with great pleasure: such as paella and many pizzas to everyone's taste from the great real pizza wood oven. In which you can also prepare beautiful casseroles. Any question you have, before and during your stay is immediately answered by Mieke or Daniel, the very helpful landlords. Even the suggestion to buy new pans was immediately taken up. For us reason to return here again.
